This wine showcases the characteristics of the grape when grown in the warm California foothills. The deep, rich flavors of dark fruits (blackberry, black cherry and black currant) immediately assert themselves. This fruit-forward wine is also accented by ripe-tasting tannins. Hints of leather, cocoa, mocha, and red bell pepper can be detected. This Cabernet Sauvignon is certainly drinkable now and, with aging, will become a rich, elegant, and complex wine.
