A Long-time Wine Club Favorite…
Lobster Shrimp Bisque

1 medium red bell pepper (chopped)
2 C red potatoes (diced)
1 ½ C green onion (chopped)
1 C celery (chopped)
1 cube butter
1 C Stevenot Chardonnay
1 C fresh mushrooms (chopped)
2 C heavy cream
4 C milk
1 ½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
½ tsp. curry powder
4 T parsley (chopped)
½ lb. lobster (cut into bite-sized pieces – crab may be substituted)
½ lb. shrimp
Lemon slices for garnish

In a large soup pot, saute’ red bell peppers, potatoes, celery, and green onion in butter until slightly brown. Add remaining ingredients, reduce heat and simmer 1 ½ hours, stirring occasionally. Garnish with lemon.
